2020 Outdoor Season Update

May. 01, 2020

Good day everyone,

As you are likely aware by now the ability to return to playing organized sport is part of Phase 4 in the Re-Open Saskatchewan plan. Phase 3 and Phase 4 do not have any timelines connected to them and we are unsure of when these phases will be enacted. If the 15 days between Phase 1 and Phase 2 is any indication of a time frame, city fields would open sometime around June 22nd barring any setbacks. This would coincide with a week left in our traditional season. As a result we have decided at this point to cancel our 2020 Spring House League and United Programs at this time and issue refund to anyone who did not pay their registration fee via a credit card. For those that chose a credit card option those charges will now be cancelled and not activated.

Once we learn more about when the reopening of fields will be able to take place and the parameters of how we are able to return to play we will share more information about an either low or no cost access to fields, return to play possibilities and options for the remainder of the spring and summer months.

If there are any opportunities for house league or united training as things progress, we will explore those opportunities with teams and families following the provincial guidelines regarding COVID-19.

We will continue to update our website and social media and are hoping to provide some fun outdoor exercises to do during this time.

In the meantime if you are out on any of the fields please maintain proper social distancing and continue to stay safe.
