Covid-19 Update

Due to the pandemic we have cancelled our traditional outdoor season for May-June 2020.  Refunds have already been issued.  Please let Natalie know at swiftcurrentsoccer@gmail.com if you have questions around this.

As the health protocols are ever changing, we will be in touch via email if we are able to offer any sort of soccer programming in the summer and/or fall. You can also watch our website for information.

In order to keep our costs down during this time, unfortunately, we have laid off our Technical Director, Dale Perry.  Any questions regarding United soccer can be directed to Chad Striker, the United League Coordinator, at swiftcurrentunitedsoccer@gmail.com.   We have also greatly reduced the hours of our office administrator, although priority services are still being provided.

Board Update

The board is currently under going some changes.  Our current President, Dona Eidsness-Anderson, and our Vice President, Larry Kielo, have resigned from the board.  We greatly appreciate the time and energy they have put into the Club and wish them all the best in their future endeavors.

Without a president and vice president, the duties have been divided up among the remaining board members.  We are using this down time from the cancellation of soccer to get organized and regrouped for the next season, whenever that might be.

Please note who to contact for any questions.

Volunteer Update

SCSA is SHORT on volunteers.  Many hands make light work.  We need to have a full slate of board members for any future seasons to run smoothly.  Please consider one of the following roles (to start immediately or in September).  Please contact Deb Steinley for more details.

City Liaison - work with the City to schedule fields, Stockade

Field and Equipment Manager - over-see the equipment, organize work bees for the fields

Member at Large (x2) - support the board through monthly meetings

President - oversees the organization with the support of the board

Vice President - supports the President and board
