We hope you continue to enjoy your summer. We are pleased to be able to offer a 4 day soccer camp in August. Please be sure to read ALL of the details below as they are important.
Dates: August 17-20, 2020
Cost: $50 per week. (Registration fee includes insurance, field rental fee, bill payments)
Location: Irwin Soccer Pitch.
Times:
U9 8:30am-10:00am
U11 10:30am-12:00pm
U13: 5:00pm-6:30pm
High School Prep: 7:00pm-8:30pm IMPORTANT: When registering under this program, select YOUTH PROGRAM under the divisions. This is for players entering grades 9-12 in the 2020-21 school year.
As per our approved guidelines, EACH player needs to bring the following each day of camp prior to stepping on the field.
1. Soccer Ball - labelled (please let the SCSA know if your child needs to borrow a ball. One can be loaned for the week if required)
2. Water bottle - clearly labelled
3. Personal Hygiene Pack - clearly labelled (contained in a ziplock or similar bag) including:
- cloth or medical mask (needed if player begins to demonstrate Covid-like symptoms Players are not required to wear them during play)
- hand sanitizer
- hand wipes (optional)
- small kleenex pack
- band aids
- other first aid items as you see fit.
4. Completion of the Self-Assessment Questionnaire. This needs to be completed daily within a two hour time frame of camp-
Players will not be allowed to participate if there is failure to present these items and/or there is lack of respect for the safety guidelines. No refunds will be issued. Waiver to be signed at registration.
Focus of the camp will be on ball control and passing drills. (maintaining appropriate distance).
The Swift Current Soccer Association will be closely following guidelines set out by Public Health. Refunds will not be issued for inclement weather or if circumstances change and camp is cancelled.
Parents are able to remain in the park, outside the fence, during camp. Social distancing is required. There is no designated area to watch camp.
